St Nicholas' Church Building
St Nicholas' Church is the most recent of the Anglican Church buildings in Droitwich. Although the name has been used for other church buildings before the current one, the present day church is a Victorian building, and often one of the first that a visitor to Droitwich sees, since it is opposite the main entrance to the railway station.
The building has been extensively re-ordered in recent decades,
and with chairs instead of pews, it provides the most flexible space of any
of our churches. As a result it also has the widest range of uses. As well as christenings, weddings and funerals, the church is used for a toddler group, social events, concerts and much more.
St Nics is also the home of Messy Church. A monthly morning for all the family encounter God in community with plenty of crafts, songs and stories along the way. Find out more here.
The church is surrounded by a small but well-kept churchyard.
